PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Jumpshot College Bound is our flagship free program designed to guide high school basketball players—especially from underserved communities—through every critical step of the college recruitment journey.
Through monthly workshops and seasonal camps, we break down the often confusing world of college recruiting, making it accessible and achievable for families who may be navigating it for the first time. Athletes learn how to build player profiles, connect with college coaches, maintain NCAA eligibility, and showcase their skills—laying a clear path toward playing at the next level.
We don’t just show you what to do — we walk with you through every step.
DESIGNED FOR:
- High school basketball players who are SERIOUS about playing at the college level
- Athletes who need help building highlight reels, contacting coaches, or understanding NCAA rules
- Students balancing academics, sports, and recruiting deadlines
- Families looking for free, trusted guidance through the college basketball process
- Players who want real feedback on what college coaches look for — without high fees.
- Coaches, counselors, and community leaders are also encouraged to connect with us to refer athletes.
✅ HOW IT WORKS (4 Steps)
1️⃣ Start Where You Are
Every athlete begins at a different point in the recruitment process — so we meet you there. When you sign up, we’ll assess what you’ve done so far and assign you a path. We then will set you up with a personalized Jumpshot profile, including a recruitment tracker and game stat log.
2️⃣ Learn the Monthly Topic
Each session is built around a key recruitment topic — like how to contact coaches, how to stay NCAA eligible, or how to build your highlight reel. We break it down so you know exactly what to do and why it matters.
3️⃣ Complete Guided Work
During each session, you’ll work through targeted assignments related to that topic — like writing your intro email to college coaches, creating your college target list, or planning out what college camps you need to attend.
4️⃣ Update, and Reach Out
We end every session with a hands-on working period where you:
- Update your Jumpshot tracker and stat log
- Write or improve your outreach emails
- Send updated info to college coaches — every month
You leave every session with real progress made - and real coaches seeing it.

Programs run monthly throughout the school year at Levite Jewish Community Center in Mountain Brook, AL.
Participants are notified in advance and must RSVP to each session.

We created Jumpshot College Bound because too many talented athletes get overlooked — not for lack of talent, but lack of guidance and information. We are providing them with access to quality information, highlight films, eligibility support, academic guidance, and trusted exposure.
