Jumpshot Media gives college students the opportunity to build a portfolio, gain field experience, and use their creative skills to amplify the voices of underrepresented high school athletes.
We’re building student content creators — filmmakers, photographers, writers, editors, producers — who are hungry to make their mark in sports media.

✅ HOW IT WORKS
(4 Steps)
1️⃣ Apply, Interview, Get Selected
Complete the application and select the position you want to fill. We’re building an elite team — each role will only have 1–2 seats, so tell us why you’re ready.
Applicants will go through interviews for their chosen role. If you’re selected, you’ll officially join the Jumpshot Media Roster.
2️⃣ Build Your Portfolio & Brand
We kick off in October 2025 with a month dedicated to building your creative portfolio, setting up personal brand websites, and prepping for live coverage. You’ll get templates, coaching, and creative sessions to level up your presence.
3️⃣ Live Season Coverage (November–February)
From November to February, it’s go-time. You’ll attend 2–4 high school games per month, capturing real content — interviews, game recaps, highlights, and media pieces that get athletes seen. You’ll work directly with the Jumpshot Recruit team and fellow creatives in the field.
4️⃣ Polish Your Portfolio (March)
We wrap the season in March by sharpening your portfolio, refining your resume, and helping you package your work for internships, job applications, or next-level opportunities. You'll leave with a professional body of work and official references from the Jumpshot Media team.
